My Priorities for Ward 1
Putting Oak Ridges First.
Ward 1 residents deserve clear answers—not vague promises. These are the practical priorities I will bring to City Hall: protecting our community, keeping life affordable and ensuring infrastructure keeps pace with growth.
Crime & Community Safety
As a wife, mother and grandmother, I believe every family deserves to feel safe at home and in our community. Children should be able to play outside, seniors should feel secure, and residents should be comfortable walking through our neighbourhoods, parks and public spaces.
Safe neighbourhoods. Strong policing. Protection for families.

More Frontline Police Officers
I will advocate for additional frontline York Regional Police officers and greater neighbourhood visibility. I will listen to residents and work with police and community organizations to address local safety concerns.
Oppose Injection Sites

Support complete sidewalk connections and safe walking routes.
I will support better street lighting, complete sidewalk connections and safe walking routes through our neighbourhoods, parks and public spaces.

I oppose supervised drug-consumption and injection sites in Oak Ridges and Richmond Hill. I believe resources should prioritize prevention, treatment, recovery and community safety.

Families, seniors and small businesses are already under pressure from inflation and the rising cost of living. City Hall must live within its means and demonstrate that every tax dollar is being used responsibly.

Review City spending, challenge wasteful or unnecessary expenses and demand measurable value for every tax dollar.

Support local businesses, entrepreneurs and responsible job creation, and advocate for a fair and competitive business environment.

Infrastructure & Transportation
Ward 1 has grown, but our roads, sidewalks and infrastructure have not always kept pace. Residents should not have to accept worsening congestion, missing pedestrian connections or development without the services needed to support it.

Advocate for road widening and intersection improvements where warranted.

Push to complete the missing sidewalk connections along Yonge Street in Oak Ridges.
