Why I’m Running for Ward 1
Oak Ridges has been my home for more than 25 years. It is where my husband, Andre, and I raised our four children, and now, as a new grandmother, I think even more about the community we are leaving to the next generation.
I’m running for Ward 1 Councillor because residents deserve safe neighbourhoods, responsible growth supported by roads, sidewalks and other infrastructure, and an honest, accessible voice at City Hall. Families and seniors are facing rising costs, so every municipal tax dollar must be managed responsibly.
Most importantly, I’m running to listen and act. I want to hear what is working, what needs attention and what would make Oak Ridges an even better place to call home.
